Two in Halliday Top 100

Once again Mike Press has been honoured to have had two wines in James Halliday’s Top 100 wines 2017 | The Weekend Australian | 4th November 2017

2016 Mike Press Single Vineyard Pinot Noir | 94 points

“The grapes were thinned three times, a very expensive process for an $18 pinot noir, but this was repaid by the sheer power and depth of this wine. Spices, plum and cherry fruit point to a prosperous future, but at this price you can afford to cellar some, drink some.”

2017 Mike Press Single Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc | 90 points

“Mike Press is always value for money, but this wine takes it to another level. The palate is full of grass, green pea, citrus and kiwi fruit; crunchy acidity provides an emphatic, cleansing finish. The one caveat is its need for food, Chinese/Thai/Malaysian would always fit the bill.”

This is the 9th year in a row James has selected our wines, proving once again the top value of Mike Press Wines.
