Tasting Notes: 24-year-old vines from a single-vineyard estate in Lobethal produce a well-structured, medium-bodied Cabernet. This variety is often overlooked as the grandfather of wine, and yet the ’22 over-delivers in elegance, quality and flavour. The dark red fruits and ripe tannins come together in the mid-palate, overlaid with the savouriness of black olives, green capsicum, and a hint of mint to finish. Matured for 18 months in French oak to add spice and complexity, enhancing the flavour profile for your enjoyment.
