Jamie’s Tasting Notes: On opening, this wine gives bright green notes of green pea, cut grass and lime. A soft mouthfeel and low acidity allows grapefruit and lychee to shine through on the first taste. As the wine opens up kiwi fruit starts to appear as the palette, and the blend of flavours linger long after the wine is gone.
Josh’s Tasting Notes: Our Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc comes from vines that wake slowly through cool, misty mornings in the hills. The long, cool growing season brings lifted aromas of citrus, passionfruit and fresh cut grass. The palate is bright and lively, showing flavours of lime, green apple and tropical fruit, with a gentle texture that adds softness and balance. Soft, gooseberry acidity keeps the wine fresh and clean, finishing with a subtle savoury edge and plenty of length.
Mike Bennie, Halliday Wine Companion: Top-notch varietal character and a gluggable feel overall. This ticks lots of boxes for simple pleasure and general refreshment factor. An uncomplicated white of dry, frisky feel, lots of passionfruit, green herbs, cut grass and just-ripe pineapple. Nails the brief for the bucks.
